Get High - Chet Faker Returning with his old new name. I enjoyed quite a few songs on this album. Definitely an easier listen than most this week.

Man Next Door - U-Roy I need more reggae every week. Santigold’s voice is perfect for this song. I’m not familiar with U-Roy’s discography but he really ends his career with a great album.

Wade - Clairo If you like Elliott Smith then this song is for you. If you do not then skip to the next.

Allons-y - April March She seems fun being both animator and musician. I can’t really put a finger on the genre but I enjoyed this song

Who Shot Ya? - Xenia Rubinos Definitely a unique sound throughout her songs that I’ve heard. I really like how there are multiple parts to this song.

2020 - Midwife Is this technically a cover? Does it matter? Minimalist. Detached. Perfectly named song.

Hop the Twig - The Courettes This is definitely my favorite sub-genre so I love that I found this band. Now I just need to get my hands on more of their stuff.

The Blame - Wavves This band has some solid songs on their 5th? album. Prior to this they were an radio band for me.

Tension-Red - Force Dimension This whole album was pretty solid and this band started when a lot of others on this playlist were born, so its no surprise then know how to put an album together.

I Might Have - A Place to Bury Strangers I can put this song on because it’s from their LP on the lead singer’s new label Dedstrange. Don’t judge me that a few weeks ago I also put a song of theirs off the EP as well.
