Francesca - The Murlocs Reminiscent of the Felice Brothers but with an Aussie energy

Brando - Lucy Dacus She uses this album to tell stories and I really enjoyed it. Check out Thumbs

Muscle Beach - Matthew Dear Electronic artist and producer. The songs I listened to from this album were all very different.

It’s Funny - PWNT A great summer song and yes I had to google to find out what PWNT stood for.

LUMBERJACK - Tyler, The Creator I didn’t remember how much I missed the rap ‘hype’ men until I heard this track.

Cheers - Faye Webster Her voice fits with so many styles on this album. Definitely check out more songs from this album.

BFIOU - Birds of Maya Really awesome guitar riffs 6 songs for a 41 minute album. This band loves to jam out with the electric guitar.

Money Longways - Localblac I really enjoyed this album. In contrast to the last artist, this album was 27 minutes. Keep it short and confrontational.

Blackeye - Jealous Ok so the label that released this is owned by another band that I discovered this year because of some awesome new tracks. This is also Dedstrange’s (the label’s) first release. I’m expecting great things to come.

WAIL OF THE BANSHEE - Backxwash Nu-metal and Rap… so confrontational and angry and I love it. She has some awesome tracks. I really wish I was into the screamy stuff because I LIE HERE WITH MY RINGS AND MY DRESSES is great but just not for me. Another artist I hope to hear more from.

Other Listens

All the words We Don’t Say- Haitus Kaiyote Some complex melodies going on with this track. Red Room is more chill.

Little Dear - Spelling This is a good song and worth a listen.

Fear Colours - LoneLady There is a fine line between electronic and cheesy and for this one electronic wins out for me

Trifflin Kids - Johnny Dynamite and the Bloodsuckers A throwback sound done so well on this album

I also geeked out to some beats on the tracks Sensing Not Seeing by John Carroll Kirby and Plastic Degredation by Delay Grounds.

Solarpunk - A lake by the moon When we are building our new civilization on Mars I’m sure Elon will allow us to listen to this.
